2011 Men's Golf League
2010 was a very successful year for Men's Golf League with increased participation and increase in prizes.  In 2011, Men's Golf League will consist of two leagues:
  • an eighteen hole two-man league - tee off 12:00-2:00 p.m.
  • a nine hole two-man league - tee-off after 3:00 p.m.
Our goal is to increase participation with these formats. Find your own partner or the committee will find a partner.
Nine Hole Format
  • Two man teams, rules announced April 19th
  • Find your own partner or committee will find a partner
  • 100% cash payoff to winners
  • Two in season tournaments
  • Weekly prizes

2011 Ladies' Golf League

        The two lady team league has been a great success because its format allows lady golfers of all skill levels to participate. The committee is looking at continuing this format with a three week league schedule, then one week off to allow for make-up matches.  This open week would also be an excellent time to invite friends out to play who are not league members.  After May 1st, a signup sheet will be posted on the ladies’ bulletin board in the clubhouse.  Please sign up as partners.  Some women have indicated an interest to play, but they do not have partners.  If you are looking for a partner, please contact Jodi Hoffmann at 432-1731.  Thank you to Jodi Hoffmann and Suzanne Pansch for their help with the league.

A free beginners golf clinic will again be offered.  This year it will be held on Wednesday nights.  Four weeks of lessons run from 6-7:00 and 7-8:00 beginning May 11th.  Lessons focus on proper grip and stance, swing mechanics, and golf rules and etiquette.

The kick-off party is scheduled for May 6th.  A complimentary dinner will be served following a nine-hole scramble tournament at 5:30.  We encourage each lady golfer to invite a 'new' golfer to the party. Golfers of all skill levels are encouraged to join the fun.
